The more books I read in Estep's Gin Blanco series, the more that I enjoy them. Venom is another amazing installment in this series, and it also ups the stakes with the introduction of Gin's sister. Gin goes through a lot in this book not just physically but emotionally as well as Mab and her goon target her sister which brings up Gin's conflicting emotions about family (her family by blood and the family she chose). Gin also has to deal with her emotional feelings that Owen awakes in her as she realizes that he isn't planning on running from her like her last boyfriend did. Estep really makes the stakes higher in this book because Gin risks not just herself but also those she cares about in order to stop Mab. Overall Venom was an excellent adventure in the series, and I can't wait to read Gin's next adventure.
