Circle of Death by Keri Arthur

Circle of Death was another thrilling and enjoyable read that I have come to expect from Arthur.  With this second book featuring the Damask Circle, we are introduced to Kirby and Doyle.  Kirby finds her life torn apart when her best friend is murdered and the killer comes after her.  Arthur does a good job with her development of Kirby who has major trust issues, but I liked how this book had Kirby facing her past as she faced this current problem as well as taking a chance for her future.  Doyle is also developed very well, and I liked his friendships with his two partners who had come to work this case with him.  The book is full of not just twists and turns but plenty of action as well.  Overall Circle of Death was another exciting and enjoyable read in this series that I would most definitely recommend.  I look forward to reading the third book in this series.
