I had picked up this book because it was at a good price at the time, and I am always looking for new authors. I really enjoyed the book especially the main character, Kat Redding. Moore does a great job at building his world full of vampires, werewolves, and Purebloods, but I especially liked how he developed the Kat character. Kat is a strong female lead who had overcome some traumatic events from her past making her into Lady Death. In this book, she has to set aside her previous beliefs and work together in a common goal with people she previously thought of as the enemy. I really liked how Moore used Kat's past to influence her present especially with the introduction of Jonathan. The book is full of many twists and turns, and I look forward to reading another book in this series.
