Forget Me Knot by Mary Marks

Forget Me Knot was a great read that really captured my attention from chapter one and never let go.  Marks did a great job at providing the reader with an intriguing mystery full of many twists and turns, and I really enjoyed her clever idea that provided the motive for the murder of Claire.  Having read a lot of mysteries, I always really enjoy when an author can really surprise me which Marks did.  Marks also created a great heroine in Martha, and I really enjoyed how relatable Martha proved to be.  Marks' secondary characters also added to the story, and I really enjoyed the strong friendship shared by Martha, Lucy, and Birdie.  I am really looking forward to reading more books by this author and hopefully another adventure featuring Martha and her friends.  If you enjoy a great cozy read full of mystery, suspense, clever plots, and some great characters, then Forget Me Knot is the book for you.
