Roth delivers another action packed tale in Insurgent. The book picks up after the events in book one with Tris and those who escaped the simulation attack looking for a safe place to regroup. Tris finds herself tested as she tries to come to grips with her parent's death, her role in her friend's death, and the fact that the factions her society had depended upon are in a stage of upheaval. Roth does a great job at mixing the action up with the drama that not only Tris faces but Tobias as well as they deal with their pasts and look to an uncertain future. Overall Insurgent was a great read, and I am looking forward to reading the third book in the series.
