Christmas is Murder was an enjoyable holiday themed read that reminded me a lot of the game "Clue." I really enjoyed the setting for the book, and the snowed in and unable to leave problem forced these characters to remain at the hotel despite the circumstances. Rex Graves was well developed in this book and proved to be a great lead as well as an excellent choice for playing detective. He was familiar with the residence and its owner because of his mother and his childhood trips there, and since he was the only one not there for the first murder he was the only one in the clear. Challinor provided some colorful characters for the hotel's guests and murder suspects, and I liked how he set it up so Rex was interested in one female guest who happened to be a suspect. Overall Christmas is Murder was an excellent read, and I am definitely interested in checking out more books in this series.
