A New York Christmas by Anne Perry

I haven't read a lot of books by Anne Perry and especially not her Pitt series, but I really enjoyed jumping right into this book which delivers a non-traditional Christmas story.  I liked how the focus of the book was on the mystery and Jemima's quest to help her friend.  The book has many different twists and turns to keep the reader and Jemima guessing what really happened to Delphinia's mother.  Jemima is well developed in the book and the reader definitely connects with her as she faces dangers herself brought on by her quest.  Overall A New York Christmas proved to be an exciting read that can be enjoyed during the holidays or all year round.  I would definitely recommend this book, and I am looking forward to reading another one of Perry's books.

Received a copy of A New York Christmas through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
